Please be aware that there is no rollback procedure and that you will either have to buy it, or reinstall your computer once it's released on the market so try to backup your hard-drive before upgrading, or try it in VMWare/VirtualBox/....
If you install Windows 8 using the Windows 8 Setup program, you won't be asked for a product key If you skipped to the ISO download page, you'll need to enter this product key:NF32V-Q9P3W-7DR7Y-JGWRW-JFCK8.

Google decided to force a compatibility check to verifiy that you are using one of the official Ice Cream Sandwich Builds.
